HSN/HNBR is ideally suited for sealing applications with high temperature conditions that require high tensile strength. The material offers strong and improved chemical resistance over traditional nitrile materials, as well as resistance to ozone and sunlight. Superior Temperature, Fuel, and Abrasion Resistance
If you need a durable, highly resistant material for a tough application, there are many benefits to highly saturated nitrile rubber. This material offers temperature and fuel resistance, abrasion, wear, and compression set resistance, and superior chemical resistance. HSN/HNBR has a high temperature threshold of 150°C (300°F) and a low temperature threshold of -40°C (-40°F). The materials offer excellent resistance to the following:
- Petroleum-based oil (motor oils)
- Fuels
- Lubricating oils
- Grease
- Water
- Steam up to 150°C (300°F)
